The rabbit and the turtle race
In the forest, there is a rabbit. He runs very fast. Every day he runs from one side of the forest to the other side. One day, he sees a turtle crawling slowly on the road.
He says to the turtle: “Hi, Mr. Turtle, let’s have a race.”
The turtle is very angry, says: “ OK, let’s have a race. I will defeat you!”
The rabbit laughs and says: “ You are so brave! How about this: Can you see the big tree over there? Who gets to the tree first, who is the winner!”
The turtle agrees.
The race begins. The rabbit runs much faster than the turtle. So after a while, he looks back and can‘t see the turtle. The rabbit thinks: “ the turtle will need about one hour to get here. I have lots of time. I can have a nap now.” So he just sleeps on the roadside.
The turtle crawls so slowly, but he doesn’t stop. About one hour later, he passes by the rabbit. The rabbit is still sleeping. The turtle keeps crawling and crawling. The big tree is just in front of him. At this moment, the rabbit wakes up. He sees that the turtle is very close to the big tree. He runs to the tree at once. But it is too late, when he gets to the big tree, the turtle is already standing under the tree!

龟兔赛跑
森林里有一只兔子。他跑得很快。 每天他都从森林的一头跑到另一头。一天，他看见一只乌龟在路上慢慢的爬着。
他对乌龟说：“你好呀，乌龟先生。咱们来场赛跑吧！”
乌龟很生气的说：“好！咱们赛跑。我会赢你的！”
兔子笑着说：“你好勇敢啊！ 这样行吗：你看见那边的那棵大树了吗？谁第一个到那棵树，谁就是胜利者。乌龟同意了。
比赛开始了。兔子跑得比乌龟快得多。所以过了一会儿，他朝后看根本看不到乌龟。兔子想：乌龟大概需要一个小时到这儿。我想很多时间。我现在先打个盹儿吧！于是他就在路边睡着了。
乌龟爬得非常慢但是他没有停。大概一小时后，他路过了兔子。兔子依然在睡觉。乌龟不停的爬呀爬呀。那棵大树就在他的前面了。这时兔子醒来了，他看见乌龟离那棵大树很近了。他立刻向大树跑去。可是太晚了，当他到达大树的时候，乌龟已经站在大树下了。
